Chapter Eight · Overview

Every Shopify sale, already in your CRM.

Stop copying customer details from Shopify into Zoho CRM. The moment someone buys, signs up, or updates their profile in your store, the matching record appears in your CRM — ready for your sales and support teams to act on.

The problem this solves

If you run a Shopify store and use Zoho CRM, your customer data lives in two places. Without an integration, your sales team has to switch tabs to look up orders, your support team can't see what someone bought before answering their email, and your marketing team can't segment customers by purchase history without exporting CSVs.

This extension closes that gap. Once it's connected, everything that matters from Shopify shows up automatically in Zoho CRM — in the right module, with the right fields filled in, ready to use.

What you'll see in Zoho CRM

Here's how Shopify activity turns into Zoho records, with no action required from you:

When this happens in Shopify This is what appears in Zoho CRM
A customer signs upA new Contact with name, email, phone, address
A customer updates their detailsThe same Contact, refreshed
A customer deletes their accountThe Contact is removed
An order is placedA new Deal with total, items, payment state
An order is changed (refund, edit, fulfillment)The Deal is updated to match
An order is cancelledThe Deal is removed
A product is added to your storeA new Product with price, image, variants
A product is editedThe Product is updated
A product is removedThe Product is removed

All of this happens within seconds of the original Shopify event — no scheduled refreshes, no overnight imports, no manual triggers.

It works both ways

Most of the time, you'll want Shopify changes to flow into your CRM. But sometimes you'll want the opposite — for example, your support team takes a phone call, edits a customer's shipping address in Zoho, and wants that change reflected in Shopify too.

For those moments, every Zoho record connected to Shopify gets a "Push to Shopify" button. Click it, and the current Zoho values are written back to the matching Shopify record. No tabs to switch, no admin login required.

What about your existing customers and orders?

You don't lose history when you install the extension. After the initial setup, run a one-time Historical Sync to bring in every customer, order, and product that already exists in your Shopify store. From that point forward, new activity flows in automatically and you start with a complete picture.

One CRM, many stores

If you sell through multiple Shopify storefronts — perhaps one for retail, one for wholesale, or separate stores per country — you can connect all of them to the same Zoho organisation. Each store has its own settings, but the records all land in one place so your team has a single source of truth.

B2B sellers welcome

If you're on Shopify Plus selling to businesses, the extension recognises B2B Companies and automatically creates matching Accounts in your CRM — with the right Contacts linked to the right Account. Account managers see every order from every buyer at a customer organisation, all rolled up.

What you don't need to know

You don't need to write code, manage APIs, or understand webhooks. You don't need a developer. The setup is three connection screens and a few toggles — everything else is configured the way most merchants need it out of the box. If your needs are more specialised, every field of every record can be customised, but for most teams the defaults are exactly right.
